WHY WE EXIST
This group aims to get residents across Wandsworth together to challenge the council and TfL on their approach to implement multiple LTN's and road closures across the borough with no advanced consultation under new Covid rules.

- Blue light vehicles getting stuck on roads and cannot pass the fixed barriers
- Cycle lane dividers (wands) prevent vehicles from moving to allow emergency responders to pass
- Concerns that police will be blocked from chasing fleeing criminals

- Tradespeople delayed to client sites thus losing income
- Taxi drivers refusing to come to LTN areas
- Shop owners livelihoods at risk
- Mobile care workers and delivery drivers unable to fulfill their rotas
- Occupations that require travel are impacted and threatened
- Diversions cause longer journeys

- Not everyone is able to ride a bike - it takes freedom of movement away
- Disabled and less mobile residents prevented from easy access to the shops
- Single working parents heavily affected
- Not everyone has the time capacity to cycle or walk
- Discriminates against those that live on polluted high roads
